Understanding Actions

The Actions that BlockBots can perform are of five types:

  • Attack

  • Fast Attack

  • Block

  • Evade

  • Boost

Attack

Attack is the most powerful offensive action that a BlockBot can perform.

It causes the most damage compared to Fast Attack (usually, it deals DOUBLE the damage of a Fast Attack), but can be reduced by a Block action by the opponent OR completely dodged by an Evade action by the opponent.

Fast Attack

Fast Attack is an action that will deal a significantly lesser amount of damage than Attack, with pros and cons: it will be impossible to dodge with an Evade action, making it useless; on the other hand, a good Block action would completely defend the opponent from a Fast Attack. It will be a form of gambling or a tactical choice against BlockBots that are strong in Agility (and Evade).

Block

Block is an action that will let the BlockBot reduce incoming damage. It will be very effective against Fast Attacks, but won’t be a determining factor against normal Attacks.

Evade

Evade is an action that will allow the BlockBot to completely dodge the damage of a normal Attack but will not be effective against a Fast Attack.

Boost

Boost is an action that will allow the BlockBot to double (2x) the effect of its next action.

For example, Boosted Attack action will be more effective than two consequent Attacks.

Players can’t see in detail who their opponent is (so preparation is necessary to be ready for the worst) OR they can see some details like class or equipment of the opponent and prepare consequently. Players can see how powerful the enemy is (Bronze / Silver / Gold tier etc.)
